We were on a tight schedule to get "antigen test" done, then on to Trumbles and John Lyons
We needed antigen test to get into Barbados and to get on ship. It was relatively straight forward, though the technicality of getting the result via mobile was beyond me, and we had to go back to the actual test place to get a hard copy.With the antigen result we could check our baggage in for our TUI flight for Barbados the next day

Once we had the test results, we went to the pick up point for Trumbles Guest House, and had enough time, just , to shower before John and Meryl came to pick us up for dinner

They had booked a table at the Grumpy Mole, which was about half an hour's drive away. After a good dinner, they dropped us back at Trumbles

Next morning a quick breakfast, and back to Gatwick. We had Premium Economy on TUI , which was cheaper than British Airways cattle class. The TUI package included lounge access, and decent seats on the aircraft.
24 Apr 2022 . Flight London - Barbados 10.50 - 14.30 TUI
Most of our fellow travellers were booked on a TUI cruise out of Barbados and were whisked direct to their ship, so emigration at Barbados was not packed. The online forms and resultant QL code seemed to do the trick, and we breezed through in double quick time. Picked up baggage, and a taxi to Yellow Bird Hotel at the St Lawrence Gap
