I arrived at Pembroke College, Oxford, with an Open Exhibition in Physics in Oct 1964, and left in June 1967 with a wife
The Physics tutor, John Wilks, was not what you would call inspirational. We also had tutorials from Ray Rook, who was not insirational either
But that really did not matter, as we all enjoyed our 3 years at Oxford. The plan being to enjoy Oxford in term time, then try to catch up during the holidays at home.
