A lazy day at sea. When we woke up, the ship was hardly moving and chunks of ice appeared on our balcony: apparently during the night the upper decks had accumulated quite a lot of ice and they were having to chip it off.
Breakfast in the restaurant and then a talk at 9:30 am. On reindeer: we learnt the Rudolph was a girl. Then at 10:30 am there was a demonstration and oppartunity to participate in making beads by the Inuit, Leslie. But this was over attended , too many people Then a talk on North Canadian Fisheries which was quite interesting but revealed at conflict of interest between small Inuit fishermen and a large cooperatives of Inuit fisherman,
At 12:25 a grand total of three of us had gathered for bridge so we played three boards. Having bridge scheduled for 1215 was really crazy but then Chloe had no interest in activities that she did not control.
We had lunch with Lea and Chris, the birder member of the expedition team. The Sun was shining and there was no wind as we walked a couple of times round the deck so I then went for a swim and a Jacuzzi. After this we went up to the panorama lounge and had a drink each before the 4 pm lecture by Margaret, on Sir John Franklin, not over exciting.

After dinner we went to the Liars Club entertainment in the panorama lounge which I had enjoyed on previous cruises but this time three of the competitors were staff members rather than expedition members and it was controlled by the loud spoken Chloe, with loud music in between rounds so it was not such an enjoyable experience.
