1881 census at 42 Comyn St, Leamington. This is the same address that his mother, who was named as his next-of-kin was living at 1889 when he joined the army

1881 His father died

1889 Jan 10 enlisted in Royal Warwickshire. At this point Holbon Warden disappears and he enlists as William. Holbon can no longer be found in any records

He states he was peviously in 3rd Warks, and left time expired

1916 Jul 18 posted France with 10th RWR

1915 Nov 15 posted back UK

1916 Jun 6. Discharged no longer physically fit for War Service

He gets a disability pension

1921 census at Waterloo Cottages with his wife- no children

1933 Mar Died Leamington in a Motor Accident. He was an unemployed Bricklayer at the time

His widow Elizabeth Beatrice gets a pension on his death
