You do not see the large car park in the photo, which is taken at a very low angle
The Cristal was an odd hotel with odd staff. I should say that the reception staff were very helpful, but none of the others were.at all .
We appeared to be about the only guests staying in the hotel, and good buffets were set up in the soulless dining room - cavernous with no atmosphere. We were completely ignored by the two waitresses who did not remove dirty plates.
There is a lot of building work going on in the area, and any mountain views will soon be all but gone.
It was really not worth the trek up here from the valley below, where there looked to be some very nice hotels. I would advise anyone to do a bit of research into the alternatives in the valley.
